The Rhone Valley stretches from south of Lyon to the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. There are a number of charming villages with their own history that will enchant you. Vienne - Condrieu is a small town on both sides of the Rhône river. The town is one of the most beautiful Gallo-Roman sites in the region. Finally, discover the town famous for its nougat: Montélimar! It is a quiet and restful town, which still has its old pedestrian areas. Don't miss the Château des Adhémar, a medieval palace from the 12th century.
All along the Rhone Valley, there is the border with the Ardèche department. This one is also very touristic and hosts the regional natural park of the Monts d'Ardèche! Discover its wines, its gastronomy (chestnuts, Picodon cheese, beef, starred chefs, producers' meetings, ...), its paths and hikes, as well as its famous crafts.
