The seaside resort of Porto Vecchio is Corsica's third-largest town and is situated on the island's east coast. The Genoans founded a colony there in the 16th century. Of the fortress they built there, many bastions are still standing today.

- How to get here :
- From Bastia follow Porto Vecchio signpost. Drive along the N198 coastal road. Drive past Ghisona,Travo Marina de Solaro,Solenzara ,Favone ,Tarco. 4 kms before Porto Vecchio ,before entering La Trinité village, turn left onto N198 immediately after Total service station. End of the drive.
From Porto-Vecchio, follow signs for Bastia (N198), pass the village of Trinidad. Take North Exit and cross the roundabout. Just before the Total petrol station, turn right. End of the drive.
